Ariel is small a registered charity and this post is unpaid but it is an important opportunity for anyone who would like to help guide the delivery of violence reduction education in 150 schools across Merseyside.

Ariel has become the leading supplier of violence reduction resources to primary schools on Merseyside and it is the independent nature of the organization that makes this possible. Charitable status makes it possible for the organisation to attract funding from a wide variety of sources in order to maintain service delivery even during time of political uncertainty.

Current funders include:

The National Lottery

Paul Hamlyn Foundation

Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership

Garfield Weston Foundation

PH Holt Foundation

The High Sheriff of Merseyside

Merseyside Police (Operation Payback)

We are currently seeking a new Trustee to grow our small Board.  The key requirement is enthusiasm however experience in any of the following would be particularly valuable:

Human Resources

Marketing & Social Media

Financial Management

Trustee meetings are held on Thursday evenings every six weeks and last for 2 hours, usually on Zoom.  Attending these represents the minimum time commitment, however most Trustees provide additional support either through the membership of sub-committees or through the provision of individual support.

If you would like to be part of an independent board that is helping to shape the way violence reduction education is delivered on Merseyside, please get in touch: admin@arieltrust.com
