We are now halfway through the second trial of our new Key Stage One Programme, 'Telling tales or asking for help?', in Dovecot Primary school, and we are making some very exciting progress!
After our first trial, we have been incorporating feedback and improvements into our second delivery, but we are also continuing to make new discoveries along the way.
It has been really interesting to see how different schools vary in regards to their teaching techniques and strategies for learning in younger children - for example, Dovecot have specific ways to help the children identify their feelings - we can therefore incorporate these school resources to aid the children's understanding of our delivery, and inspire our development moving forward!
We are continuing to adapt our resources to fit these differences, as well as the needs of the individual children, along the way.
This is continuing to be invaluable learning for us. It is really exciting to see the children's confidence and engagement growing - we are seeing an improvement in their understanding and help seeking skills each week, and we can't wait to continue with the programme!
