Teachers - Get Involved!
09 June 2010
Ariel Trust has attended two major conferences this year - the NUT and the NAHT. At each event, we talked to teachers from all over the country about our past and future projects.
We now want to take this one step further and ask teachers to be directly involved with our next project - making a learning resource to tackle issues surrounding Domestic Violence.
I am a teacher and would like to be involved. What would this mean?
Your participation would involve giving feedback on proposed lesson plans and activities. We feel your input is vital to ensure that the issues are tackled in an appropriate way and that the end product is as effective as it can be.
What can I expect in return for my involvement?
- A resource which you have helped create and which has been made to your specification
- A resource which will have a complete scheme of work with lesson plans
- A resource filled with audio, video and interactive multi-media - no more hours spent looking on the internet for suitable clips!
- The chance to get your school’s pupils featured in the pack
- An introduction to other teachers with a similar passion for teaching
- To be credited by name on the final packs
- Access to previous Ariel Trust resources for free
Our previous learning resources have proved successful in increasing pupil motivation and improving results. You can read about our latest pack here
The next steps…
We’re going to be running a series of workshops (both online and face-to-face) to discuss the project outline and look at the initial lesson plans.
So now is the time to get in touch and get involved.
