The second resource in a series of Violence Prevention materials for the “It’s Not Ok” partnership is Street Heat - Drawing the Line.

The DVD deals with the extreme consequences that can result from playing with fire, whilst the accompanying interactive CD Rom encourages young people to consider aspects of their own behaviour and consider their contribution to “social behaviour” in 21^st century Britain. The resource succeeds in addressing attacks on fire-fighters, hoax calls and fire related aspects of anti-social behaviour. 

The resource is mapped against the GCSE English curriculum and enables pupils to complete three pieces of coursework, Speaking & Listening, Original Writing and Media Analysis.  The resource pack costs £75 and includes a free copy of the film Street Heat.  In addition, a package of support for teachers to set up a programme of learning based on lessons learned from the pilot project is available.  Please contact us for prices.
