Speak Out to Help Beat Bullying
24 April 2009
There's a second chance to hear Ariel students taking to the air in a repeat of our recent City Talk 105.9 Special this Bank Holiday Monday.
'Speak Out to Help Beat Bullying' is a discussion programme featuring a panel of experts and an invited audience talking about the problem of bullying and how we can work together to help put a stop to it.
Presented by City Talk 105.9 breakfast host Kim Hughes, the programme contains the work of some of Ariel's most recent students including interviews with victims of bullying and those who are working to eradicate it.
The programme is the culmination of Ariel's latest eight-week multi-media project 'Make Your Voice Heard' during which the students learned radio production skills while researching the problem of bullying. They recorded material for the City Talk programme and helped decide who should be on the panel.
You can hear the programme 'Speak Out to Help Beat Bullying' at 12 noon on Monday 4th May on City Talk 105.9 or by clicking on the links on the right of this page.
