Free education games available online

14 April 2011

Emma 2:

We have just uploaded a number of education games to our website, to encourage you to try out the interactive activities for free.

You can access our website and upload exclusive games from our ‘Heritage’ and ‘Abusive Relationships’ learning resources.

‘Heritage’ is aimed at Primary School children to teach elements of History and PSHE.

From ‘Heritage’ you can access the 'Cane Game', a timeline of punishments in classrooms; as well as 'Judge Ernie', an interactive judge displaying cases of anti-social behaviour.

Both games come with unique lesson plans so you may want to try out either game on your pupils.

‘Abusive Relationships’ is a domestic violence resource aimed at Key Stage Three English and PSHE curriculum.

We have uploaded the interactive ‘Agony Aunt’, where you and your class can read young people’s letters regarding relationship problems.

The aim is for the activity to be used by students in class and for them to discuss how they would respond to each letter.

Both learning resources are in the final stages of development so we are eager to get as many people to try out these free games and to collect feedback.

If you have tried the games yourself or used them in the classroom, please contact us to let us know what you think about using these games as an education resource.
