Free copy of new resource - Face Up
26 May 2011
The new domestic violence learning resource is now complete and you can get your free copy now.
If you are a teacher, youth worker or a member of a youth organisation in Liverpool, you can get your hands on this exclusive software.
We will be launching Face Up on Friday 27th May at the Violence Against Women and Girls Event in Blackburne House, Liverpool.
In partnership with the Liverpool City Council’s It’s Not OK initiative, we have developed a unique learning resource that tackles the issue of domestic abuse in young people’s relationships.
The software includes an interactive Agony Aunt and film clips based around a variety of domestic violence scenarios.
It also comes with exciting lesson plans that require young people to carry out a number of speaking and listening activities such as group discussions, debates, role play exercises and presentations.
Face Up can be used for Personal Social Health & Economic education (PSHE) and Key Stage Three English curriculum.
