The results from our pilot at St John Bosco School, Liverpool have now been analysed, and they clearly show Ariel’s education programmes can help you improve coursework results for your GCSE students.

We are about to launch two resources that support delivery of English at Key Stages 3 and 4. ‘Denial’ focus on the issue of homophobic bullying, raising awareness of the issues and exploring the peer pressure that leads to negative behaviour going unchallenged.

‘Street Heat 2’ will allow you to deliver up to half a term of work that focuses on fire-related anti-social behaviour. Your pupils will become news reporters covering the consequences of a local fire and will also look at events from the perspective of a victim, writing a monologue in character. The results of a pilot of ‘Street Heat 2’ showed that grades in all coursework areas were improved by the programme. Particularly successful were the Speaking & Listening results where pupils improved their results by a whole grade.

A detailed analysis of the results is available to download from this page.
