Digital Citizens

The Big Lottery fund, a programme for 16-24 year olds who would like to become 'Digital Citizens'.  Participants learn a range of media and digital audio techniques and use them to make radio programmes and online resources about issues affecting their lives and their communities.

An important part of this project is the production of 'Question Time' style debate programmes that are broadcast on local radio stations, including City Talk and KCR FM.  Young people lead all aspects of these programmes including identifying and researching key subjects for debates, identifying and inviting guests for the panel and chairing the discussions.
